California Community College Collaborative (C4) at UC Riverside

Acting as the consulting assistant director for the California Community College Collaborative (C4) at UC Riverside (, Dr. Kisker designed and coordinated a statewide best practices study, managed graduate student researchers, and coordinated professional development activities for a joint Title V grant between C4 and Riverside Community College District. The resulting report, titled Promising Practices in Community Colleges, can be accessed here.

Santa Monica College, Emeritus College

In two separate projects for Santa Monica College's Emeritus College, Dr. Kisker led a curriculum review in preparation for a state audit, worked with faculty to revise course outlines of record and create student learning outcomes, and later advised faculty on assessing student learning outcomes and incorporating a continual cycle of assessment, improvement, and student learning.

Working in collaboration with administrators at Santa Monica College, Dr. Kisker managed and coordinated a large California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office grant to develop and implement California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) preparatory courses and a comprehensive adult high school curriculum.
